Wheel Presentation
Wheels change the whole car.
Curbed or tired wheels can make even a clean car look neglected. Scraped outer edges, peeling finishes and mismatched repairs stand out quickly because wheels sit right in the customer's line of sight.
SpotFix alloy wheel repairs are built around improving that presentation. Whether it is one damaged wheel or a full set colour change, the aim is to give the vehicle a cleaner, sharper and more intentional look.
Common Wheel Damage
What we repair most.
Wheel work can be a basic tidy-up or a full visual upgrade depending on the damage and finish.
Curb rash
Scraped outer wheel edges from gutters, tight drive-throughs and parking mistakes.
Scraped spokes
Marks across the face of the wheel that affect the overall presentation.
Peeling paint
Old coatings, poor previous repairs or aged finishes that need proper refinishing.
Colour change
Change the look of the vehicle with gloss black, satin black, silver, gunmetal, bronze or custom finishes.
Single wheel repair
Useful for one damaged rim, but colour and finish matching need to be considered.
Full set refinish
Best for consistency when all four wheels need to look clean and uniform.
Finish Selector
Choose the wheel finish that suits the car.
This is the section to keep. It helps customers visualise the style before they ask for a quote.
Gloss Black
Deep wet gloss finish. Aggressive, modern and high contrast on most vehicles.
Satin Black
Lower sheen than gloss black with a clean factory performance feel.
Gunmetal
Modern and subtle. Works well when gloss black feels too heavy.
Hyper Silver
Bright factory-style finish that keeps the car looking fresh and original.
Bronze
A sportier finish that pairs well with white, black, grey and darker colours.
Custom Colour
For customers who want a more personalised finish or standout visual direction.

- The car needs a bigger visual upgrade.
Wheel Repair Process
Prep is where the finish is won.
A wheel refinish is not just spraying over damage. The shape, surface and coating system all matter.
1. Inspect
Damage, finish and suitability are checked first.
2. Repair
Curb rash is sanded, shaped and prepared.
3. Prime
The surface is prepared for paint and finish.
4. Colour
The selected wheel colour or refinish is applied.
5. Clear
Clear coat protects and completes the finish.
FAQ
Wheel repair questions.
A few things customers should know before booking wheel repair or refinishing.
Can you repair diamond-cut wheels?
Some diamond-cut wheels need specialist machining. If they are not suitable for mobile refinishing, we will say so upfront.
Should I repair one wheel or all four?
If only one wheel is damaged, one may be fine. For colour changes or inconsistent finishes, a full set is usually better.
Can I change wheel colour?
Yes. Gloss black, satin black, silver, gunmetal, bronze and custom colours can all be discussed.
Can badly buckled wheels be repaired?
Structural damage, cracks or buckles usually need a specialist wheel repairer rather than cosmetic refinishing.
